I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God.
There were 635 in my high school graduation class…but I had a close-knit group of 11 girlfriends. Forty years later, all 11 us still get together every summer, although we are now scattered all over the
We had a class reunion this past summer with a fabulous turnout. It was more fun than any of us could have imagined! This is the reunion committee…..and a few of those dear friends. (I’m the 6th from the left, in the black-and-white outfit) It’s so much fun to get together and remember the pep rallies, football games, school dances, pajama parties, boyfriends, ….lots of God's Fingerprints in those memories! I treasure them.
Stop by at Beki's blog for more Fingerprints.
Be sure to stop during your day today to think about the Fingerprints in your own life. The present ones….AND the past ones, too!
Make sure you look for God's Fingerprints in your travels today. Have a wonderfully memorable Friday....wherever you are in the world!

Hi Carol,
What a wonderful post! It's so great that you keep in constant contact with all your friends from school! and the reunions sound like fun! My school never had any reunions but I always hoped that they would!
All the best!
Carol-
You have such a gift for friendship, starting way before high school and continuing on to this day. I think of the way you treasure your loved ones whenever I hear the old (Girl Scout?) song: "Make new friends, but keep the old; one is silver, and the other gold." Thank you for being my friend, dear one!
Love,
Kathi
Hi Carol! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. Congrats to you on David's Post of the Day! Happy Trails to you!

Hi Carol ,
so neat that you still keep in contact with all your freinds and what a beautiful way to remind us of those fingerprints in our lives I think way to often we forget just how blessed we really are :)
have a good week-end

Carol, I enjoy reading your blog so much! You have a very special way with words and your stories are very beautiful! I especially find the stories about your mother touching, as both my grandmothers suffered from alzheimers, as well as my aunt, and I fear my Mom will also.
On another note, I ordered some of your scrabble tile necklaces for Christmas gifts and received them yesterday.....such unique beautiful work, can't wait to put a "one of a kind" gift under the trees of several little girls this Christmas.
Thank you, and keep blogging!
Tanya
That is just fabulous that you all still stay in touch. I still stay in contact with most of my friends from high school, but we rarely get together.
Oh how fun carol!! I think its sooo cool that 11 of you still manage to meet up each year!!!
Lotsa hugs..

Fingerprints of girlfriends have molded me into the creature I am today. I am so BLESSED to have the girlfriends that I have had in my life.. past, present and future. Your fingerprint on my life has helped me through many rough spots.. especially with the one I'm currently going through now, and as I grab your hand to hold me up through this upcoming journey, I know your fingerprints will hold me strong. Thank you, dear friend..
Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not on thine own understanding." Nel
Definitely. Thanks for the reminder to look :-)
Fingerprints -oh, so darned many in my life that I wouldn't even know where to begin looking for and at them! Loved this post though. You and your group reminds me of a much smaller group -right now only five of us who graduated together -friends then, friends still after 46 years since we left high school -and we meet once a month for lunch now. Of course, our class was way smaller than yours -only 46 I believe -and we five still live in the same general area so getting together is easier -most of the time. It's always enjoyable though to be able to reconnect for about two hours on the last Thursday of the month -changed to the 3rd Thursday though for November and December, for obvious conflicts with major holidays!
What a wonderful way to view these lifelong friendships you have!!
This is a beautiful post. Thank you so much for participating in Fingerprint Friday.
Thanks for the wonderful reminder to cherish what is really important in life!
You are truly blessed to still be in touch with all 11 of them! What an amazing treasury :)
That sounds like it was lots of fun! I am glad you kept your closest friends!
How great that all you girls still get together. :)
Oh, how wonderful to still know friends from your youth! It must be quite something to grow and mature together with so many memories shared.
Here's to many more reunions, long may they continue!
11 friends strong after all those years. AMAZING!
This post put me so in mind of It's a Wonderful Life...yes, His fingerprints are all over us, for sure. Lovely post...
Sandi
I envy your friendship. I have no idea where any of my friends from school are now. I wish I did.
Martha
You are lucky to have such a long and close friendship with people from school. I never had any true friends at school and couldn't wait to leave. A reunion is my idea of a nightmare!!
