~End-Of-October Blessings and Free Shipping~


I cannot believe we're heading into the end of October already! The studio is humming away filling Christmas orders. The days are shorter and cooler. Fall will be coming to an end all-too-quickly. Many blessings still on the horizon here at RoseCreekCottage Studios:

~deck and porch furniture are stowed away for the winter

~the gardens are cut down and turned under for a long sleep

~the kitchen continues to fill with all our favorite aromas of fall baking and comfort food meals

~heavier quilts are on the beds

~the birds are filling up at the feeders

~squirrels are busy scurrying through the woods hiding nuts for the winter

~Monday Blessings~


It's fall here in Ohio, which brings lots of Autumn Blessings:

~the crunch of the leaves underfoot

~the smell of burning leaves

~caramel apples

~the aroma of 'anything' apple baking in the oven

~getting out the sweaters and afghans

~piling winter quilts on the beds

~hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks

~Starbucks "Pumpkin Spice Latte"(yum.....)

~Candy corn

~Pumpkins on the front steps

~Cornstalks on the mailbox and lamp posts

~Pumpkin Spice candles burning in the studio

~Shorter days

~A bit of a chill in the air that simply smells like "fall"

We watched Ella's soccer game last weekend. It was so nostalgic to see my 7-year-old
granddaughter playing, while her daddy coached her team. sigh. I got tears in my eyes as I looked at him standing there, coffee cup in hand, coaching his daughter: MY long-ago 7-year-old coaching HIS 7-year-old. Life....full circle once again~

~Friday Blessings and A Recipe to Share~

~Heading to the kitchen to make Mock Cheesecake to take to the grandbabies~recipe below~hmmmmm

Mock CheeseCake

2 cans pillsbury butter crescent rolls

-2 (8oz) packages cream cheese (softened)
-1 cup sugar
-1 teaspoon vanilla
-1/4 cup butter (melted)
-Cinnamon & sugar


Unroll and spread 1 & 1/2 can crescent rolls on bottom of un-greased 13 x 9 pan.

Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spread mixture over crescent rolls.

Unroll and spread remaining crescent rolls over mixture.

Spread melted butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

Cut into squares when cool. Serve and Wait for the rave reviews!!
