~Waitin'~
They’re comin'! Ella and Jackson are comin' back to RoseCreekCottage this weekend! We can hardly wait. I put on my favorite hat with the big crimson rose. And my red-patent-leather shoes. They don’t call me “Mercedes With the Red Shoes” for nothin’!

I must tell everyone at Rose Creek Cottage about the many bears at the Suldog home. Something like 50, last time anyone bothered to count.
(Truth be told, not all bears. A couple of cows, cats, rabbits, and whatnot included. Perhaps someday soon.)
Ah...I should have guessed that bears would be happy inhabiting your home, Jim! No surprise there!! How do they feel about cats?? Ours are allergic to them....or I'm sure they would already have invited them all in for tea!!
Carol.. this blog post is adorable! I can see you playing dress-up with Mercedes in your height of glory! Love the shoes!! Nellie-Nel
Dear Mercedes -
Please take care of Grandma Carol! I can not believe those elves did not show up and we all know that Grandma Carol's boss is a real slave-driver. At least make sure she's also got a cup of tea when Ella and Jackson are there!
mwah!!!
Oh Martha..I hope Mercedes listens to you. She can be so unruly at times!
Nel...I'm heading out today to find red-patent-leather shoes for Ella and I! Wish me luck!!
What fun!!! Loved this entry! Hope to hear more from Mercedes. I'm in love with anything patent leather myself; we'd get along very well for sure!
You two would get along famously, Patti! She's very fond of Sharpie Markers.....and m & m's!
:-D LOL!! I know Mercedes and Patti would be shopping buddies in a heartbeat! Did you find any shoes for Ella?
Love this post ! Puts me in the mood for a tea party, with bears of course. Really sweet !
It sure is nice of you to keep all those lively creatures in your cottage. I hope that bear is well potty trained. Sorry bear, I'm just saying, we live amongst a lot of black bears and when they ask, Does a bear sh.. in the woods, usually the answer is Yes.
