~Shaker Woods Festival 2009~

Please join us at Shaker Woods Festival in Columbiana, Ohio, Aug. 8-9th, 15-16th and 22-23rd from 10-5 pm. We will be joining over 200 other fine arts and craftspeople from all over the country, demonstrating and selling their wares.

We spent the week putting finishing touches on our little cottage there. These photos were taken before we were finished stocking the cottage, and don't reflect even HALF the amount of inventory we have tucked in every nook-and-cranny we could find~

For directions and more information go to Shaker Woods Festival's website. Paths wind through acres of lush woods. There will be mouth-watering food cooked over open fires, along with lots of musical entertainment. It's a show not to be missed!

~Adventures Of A ShowGirl~

We are all set-up and ready for the beautiful St. John's Festival of the Arts, in Westlake, Ohio. If you're anywhere in the area tonite or this weekend, please stop by to booth #167 and say hello! I've enjoyed meeting lots of Etsy sellers and customers at my recent shows.

St. John's is a fine juried show set in the lovely grounds of St. John's hospital. It winds through the trees and walking paths surrounding the pond. The food is delicious....and the arts and crafts breathtaking. It's a show that's well-worth the trip!





RoseCreekCottage Studio has been humming away into the wee hours of the morning to prepare for the many shows scheduled for the upcoming fall and winter months. I've been working on my Ragamuffin dolls, rabbits, santas, and my whimsical jewelry line. I have lots of new designs in the works, and have some things to finish up before tonite's show begins at 6 pm....so I'd best get off this computer and get to my studio! See you next week!!

~Monday Monday......~

Ah....Monday again. I have lots of new creations on my workbench right now. It seems that the 'cocooning' feeling that the winter cold brings on here in the midwest is VERY good for my creative juices! And....Valentine's Day is on Saturday.

I have many designs in my Etsy shop that would be perfect gifts to say, "I love you" to the special sweeties in your life. Here are just a few:

The top photo is a perfect Sweetheart Bracelet, consisting of 9 altered art charms created from vintage valentines. Tucked in between are red-and-white polka-dotted lampwork beads, red elongated crystals, and lots of silver enameled heart charms. IT IS SOLD!


The second photo is from my Truffles Collection for Tweens, Teens....and of course, playful adults, too. It's called, "Lil Tweetheart". It's a scrabble tile necklace, sealed with a non-toxic topping for permanence and durability. It comes in a truffle cup tucked into a little clear-topped tin. The perfect little gift that says, 'I love you'.

Or how about some Chocolate Sprinkles? Another sweet Truffle necklace nestled in a truffle cup tucked into a clear-topped tin.

~Truffles & Trinkets~

I've been working non-stop on my new custom jewelry line for children and teens. I'm very pleased with the way it's finally come together. It's called:

"Truffles and Trinkets for Tots to Teens".

The collection consists of recycled scrabble tiles adorned with pretty papers, swarovski crystals for the 'bling' that we girls love, and a monogram of your choosing. They come on an 18" silver ball chain (which is all the rage right now) with matching ribbons. They are packaged in little truffle cups placed inside round silver tins with clear lids. They're also available in Birthday Party Favor Paks.
