~Journey Home~

My dear mother has begun her journey home to our Lord. Hospice is here. Please understand that I will return your convos and emails as I can.  Orders are either on their way, or being worked on by the girls. Anything ordered this week will not ship until next week. Thank you for understanding. Please say some prayers that she arrives in heaven quickly and painlessly~

What a sad, and yet beautiful time. It makes me think of my dad, of course, and how bittersweat it all was. I was so excited for him to finally go home, our real, true, home, and be completely himself again. Good as (better than) new. And yet at the same time, of course we mourn.

Saying prayers for your mother to transition to her new life peacefully, that she should feel His love and joy and comfort soon.

Praying for you and your family as well. That you may be comforted and given special grace from God to get you through.

Peace!

Carol, I'm sorry for what you are going through and hope your mother's last days are peaceful. The minister of our church shared something with us during my hubby's mother's last days. As a minister he has witnessed many deaths of his older parishioners through the years. He says that it's like God gently taking the last breath out of their mouth into His own - just as he breathed the breath of life into them as newborns.

Prayers for you and your family as God takes matters into His own hands.

Dear Carol -having been exactly where you are today but 32 years ago come October, I can understand what is going through your mind. I will remember you in thought and prayer that this will be as painless for your Mother as is humanly possible and for too -the Peace that comes from faith as well as love.
