~Emilia Bay: Child of God~
Once again, the Lord has bestowed another blessing on us. On Sunday we had the honor of attending our 3rd grandchild's Christening. Sweet little Emilia Bay, born the end of April, was officially welcomed into the church. She was SO attentively good throughout the hour Mass that preceded the sacrament....that she fell SOUND asleep during the actual ceremony. She didn't even budge when the cold water was poured on her forehead. Yup....that is a TRUE Child of God!!!
Congratulations to our son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Amy, who are Emilia's Godparents. I cannot think of any couple on this earth who could do a better job!!

Ohhhhhh....thank you, Mel! I know I've probably been making dolls too long...but doesn't she just LOOK like one??!!!
I was thinking the same thing!! What a real "doll"!
Thankx, Jen....but you know I'm pretty prejudice!!!
Oh, she's soo beautiful, Carol!!!! What a joy!!! So happy for all of you!!! Love, Janine XO
Thank you, Janine! She's not only beautiful..but such a good baby...though her parents would think she was much better if she'd start sleeping through the nite! LOL!
She is a beauty!

Emilia looks like a perfect dolly creation. Congratulations on her sweet self being added to your wonderful family.
Carol I am so glad you wrote. With everything happening this year for me I have been using blogging as a means of keeping everyone up to date with my father and I don't know quite how I did it but I lost your web address. I have often wondered how you were doing. Now that I have a laptop I have the ability to sit with Daddy and still visit my friends.
You shared with me how your mom is doing. I am sorry that yet more has been robbed from her awareness. As my own father is having his many times these days of not being lucid I take comfort in knowing that God says He never leaves us. To me that means that even though on the outside Daddy is not making sense to me, on the inside I know God is holding him and must be having visits with him of comfort. God says He is there and He didn't say sometimes. He stated it as fact and simple.
God bless you and your day today.
Beautiful baby girl! Looks so much like the porcelain baby doll I had when I was a child -that my Aunt found and fell in love with in a store window where it was being used to model the baby clothes. She said it looked like me so she just had to commandeer the store owner into selling that doll to her!
Hello Carol thank you so much for stopping by Dolliedaydream and lovely to 'meet you' via the blogosphere :-) What an absolutely gorgeous babe! I love the last picture of her so, so cute - kisses Kitty
What a beautiful little angel baby. Congratulations! :)
Beautiful baby. Lucky Godparents too.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. (I am curious about your ghost story!!)

Oh my goodness, little Emilia looks like a little doll! And I thought that before I just now looked down and read your comment message back to Mel!
I just checked out your Etsy Shop and love your creations too Carol.
Hi Carol! How precious these tiny grandies are! It is a joy to meet you and know that you are a lover of textures, too! I think that light green burlap is awesome! That and the parchment color are my two faves!
I am going to have to take a few minutes and look around your blog! I love meeting other creative souls!
I have never done any shows...I almost started a promotion business to hold craft events, but the Lord had other plans!
Thank you for stopping by! I was just making more acorns tonight! More white ones!
Blessings,
Becky
She is absolutely GORGEOUS!
